Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using What The Style ("WTS"), operated by Tempestronics. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

What The Style is an AI-powered fashion synthesis platform that allows users to virtually try on clothing items using generative AI models.

2. Atelier Credits System

2.1 Usage

Actions within the App (e.g., High-Resolution Synthesis, Virtual Try-On) consume Atelier Credits. The credit cost for each action is displayed within the user interface and is subject to change based on computational intensity.

2.2 Purchases & Refunds

• Credits are purchased in "slabs" via our integrated payment gateways.
• All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• Tempestronics reserves the right to adjust credit costs for AI actions as synthesis technology evolves.

2.3 Expiration

Unless otherwise stated in a specific promotional offer, Atelier Credits do not expire as long as the account remains active.

3. User Responsibilities

3.0 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WTS, and at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase Atelier Credits.

3.1 Content Guidelines

You are solely responsible for the images you upload. You represent that you have the right to use these images and that they do not violate any third-party rights or laws.

This also applies to any text you submit, including item names and brand names. You must not submit names that are offensive, misleading, unlawful, or that infringe a third party's trademark or other rights. Submitted brand and product names are reviewed before they appear in the shared catalog, and we may reject or remove any entry.

3.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use WTS for:

• Generating deepfakes or non-consensual synthetic media.
• Creating sexually explicit or harmful content.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer our AI synthesis pipelines.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership of Outputs

To the extent permitted by law, Tempestronics grants you ownership of the generated images created using your legitimate Atelier Credits.

4.2 License to Tempestronics

By uploading images or submitting text (such as item names and brand names), you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, resize, store, and synthesize your content solely for the purpose of providing the WTS service to you.

4.3 Catalog Contributions

When you enter an item name or brand that is added to our shared catalog, you grant Tempestronics a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that de-identified entry as reference data within the WTS catalog, including after your account is terminated. Catalog entries do not identify you.

4.4 Third-Party Trademarks

Third-party brand names shown or stored in WTS, including entries in the brand catalog, are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only. Their presence does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those brands.

5. Data Portability & Account Deletion

5.1 Export & Import

You may export a copy of your data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data. We prepare the archive in the background and email you a secure download link when it is ready; that link expires within one hour. You may also import a previously exported archive to restore items to your account.

5.2 Import Storage & Credits

Imported images are stored using your active storage method. If images are stored in WTS Cloud (rather than a connected Google Drive), importing wardrobe items and personal photos consumes Atelier Credits at the same rate as normal uploads. The credit cost and your current balance are shown for you to confirm before any import proceeds, and no credits are charged until you confirm.

5.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data. Deletion is permanent and irreversible: your wardrobe, try-ons, personal photos, and any unused Atelier Credits are erased and cannot be recovered, and our access to your connected Google Drive is revoked. As required by law, we retain a de-identified record of past transactions, and anonymous catalog entries you contributed remain in the shared catalog.

6. Limitation of Liability

WTS provides AI-generated simulations. We do not guarantee that the virtual try-on results perfectly represent the physical fit, texture, or color of real-world garments. Tempestronics is not liable for any fashion decisions, purchases, or damages resulting from the use of the App.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Unused credits in terminated accounts are forfeited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tempestronics is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of WTS after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
